Special-2014-Bravo Awards

This year’s Bravo Awards Gala will be held on May 4, 2014 at the Bonaventure Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.  We are honoring three people/groups that have contributed significantly to the Asia American Symphony Association for many years. This year’s awardees are:

  • The Aratani Foundation
  • Joe Marino, Assistant Conductor
  • Yun Tang, Principal Violinist

The Aratani Foundation has been a long-time supporter of AASA and we appreciate their dedication to our mission of providing our youth with educational and performing opportunities. The Aratani Foundation has also provided philanthropic support to many other Japanese-American and other organizations in the Southern California area.

Joe Marino has been involved with music and the youth for many years. In addition to helping teach and conduct the Asia America Youth Symphony, he has taught music in the South Bay and is well respected by his students and peers.

Yun Tang has been the Principal Violinist for the Asia America Symphony for many years and is also a member of the Los Angeles Philharmonic and has played with many other orchestras as well.
