Join David Benoit on May 15, 2016 when he conducts the Asia America Youth Symphony and the All-American Boys Chorus in the premiere of his most personal composition to date, “Bikeride.”
“Bikeride” draws its inspiration from both childhood memories and David’s lifelong enjoyment of this pastime. At its core, it is the story of a young boy who was tormented by bullies and rescued by his father, giving the child the freedom to once again enjoy the simple pleasure of a neighborhood bike ride.
David’s classic instrumental sound, overlaid with the beautiful voices of the All-American Boys Chorus, brings this poignant memory to life, and is fittingly described by David as his most heartfelt and personal composition in a career that spans four decades.
The Armstrong Theater in Torrance, CA is the venue for this very special concert. Tickets can be purchased on the Asia America Youth Symphony web site — https://aasymphony.org/2016-order-tickets/ .
